Japanese Snack Controversy: Morinaga Infant Biscuits Suspected of Containing Animal Excrement, FDA Urgently Investigating

Reported 9 months ago

Morinaga, a well-known Japanese snack brand, issued a product recall notice on their official website stating that their snack contained foreign objects, suspected to be animal feces. The Taiwan FDA is investigating the importation of this product by 6 companies totaling 231.92 kilograms, to confirm if it matches the items listed for recall by the manufacturer. Doctors have warned that ingesting animal feces can lead to food poisoning, with more severe effects on infants. The brand has recalled a total of 190,000 packages due to potential contamination.
