Japanese-American MLB star Shohei Ohtani recently purchased a $7.85 million mansion in Los Angeles, sparking discussions. However, Japanese TV stations, including TV Asahi and Fuji TV, detailed the mansion's features extensively and used aerial drones and interviews with locals, resulting in Ohtani and his wife, Mikey Tazawa, feeling exposed and at risk. Consequently, the Los Angeles Dodgers have banned TV Asahi and Fuji TV from using press credentials, and footage of Ohtani has been ordered to be halted, essentially leading to a ban of these media outlets. Ohtani's frustration does not seem to be subsiding, with negotiations ongoing to lift the ban.
