Reported about 1 year ago

On June 6, 2024, a water boar escaped from a zoo in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan due to a keeper leaving a gate open, prompting a search operation in the nearby forest. The zoo, known as the 'Nikko Monkey Army,' has been raising water boars since 2022, with this particular boar named 'Iroha' being the fourth in their care.
