The Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), consisting of 10 countries, is currently conducting the 'Nordic Warden' operation to monitor suspicious activities in key maritime areas using various aviation and maritime assets, effectively ensuring the safety of underwater infrastructure. With 30 different types of assets from 10 member countries, the operation aims to secure critical infrastructure like undersea cables, energy pipelines, and drilling platforms in the North Sea to the Baltic Sea region for about four weeks by gathering intelligence and collaborating to identify and respond to abnormal activities, ultimately safeguarding the surrounding seas and maintaining allied interests against potential threats.
