During the Taipei Film Awards nominee reception, only Jerry Yan and Bai Runyin were present out of the five contenders for Best Actor. Despite having worked together on 'The Distance Between Us and Evil 2,' Jerry Yan forgot Bai Runyin's name until the event. Jerry Yan also shared a height-increasing remedy with Bai Runyin, inspired by Michael Jordan's growth spurt story. Bai Runyin mentioned that practicing basketball helped him grow taller, emphasizing the camaraderie and playful banter between the two despite being from different generations.
