JetAir, a regional airline serving Curaçao, declared bankruptcy, leading to the cancellation of all scheduled flights to destinations like Aruba, Bonaire, Colombia, and Sint Maarten. The airline cited poor management and the inability to attract enough customers as reasons for its downfall, leaving both locals and tourists stranded as its aircraft remain grounded since June 18th. The trustees appointed for the bankruptcy are now tasked with investigating the company's assets and exploring potential restart possibilities with the support of the Curaçao government and local authorities.
