Jewell Loyd scored 32 points as Seattle Storm narrowly defeated Indiana Fever 85-83 in a WNBA game in front of a sellout crowd of 18,000. Loyd, along with Sami Whitcomb, who scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, helped secure the Storm's victory. Despite a strong performance from Caitlin Clark with 21 points for the Fever, they were unable to secure their first win of the season. Nneka Ogwumike added 22 points for Seattle, who managed to hold off Indiana's late rally. This game marked the largest attendance for a basketball game in Seattle.
