The groundbreaking ceremony for the Jiantan Station Multiple Purpose Building of Taipei Metro was held, attended by Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an and Taipei Metro board members. The building will consist of 3 underground and 16 above-ground levels, featuring A-grade office space with green building design and solar power facilities. Chairman Zhao Shao-lian extended an invitation to Terry Gou, saying the building is ideal for his company's headquarters. Scheduled for completion in 2028, it is expected to generate annual revenue of 2 billion NTD for Taipei Metro.
