Redick, a former NBA player turned ESPN analyst, has reportedly impressed the Lakers during their coaching search process, with sources claiming the franchise has a strong interest in him. Despite this, the Lakers have conducted interviews with both Redick and Borrego, acknowledging Borrego's favorable impression during the interviews.
