Joe Pavelski, the Sharks legend, is preparing to retire from the NHL at almost 40 years old. Although he has not officially announced his retirement, Pavelski confirmed he does not plan to return for the next season. After spending 13 seasons with the San Jose Sharks and the last five with the Dallas Stars, Pavelski reflected on his career, including reaching two Stanley Cup Finals without winning. With a notable NHL career that includes multiple All-Star appearances, Pavelski plans to spend more time with his family and continue his involvement in hockey in other capacities.
