Reported about 1 year ago
Joeman, a popular YouTuber with millions of subscribers, was investigated for alleged marijuana use and possession, with a search conducted in November last year. The prosecution's deferred prosecution disposition was rejected by the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office today, resulting in Joeman's deferred prosecution sanction being finalized. However, Joeman must now complete 100 hours of community service. Joeman, whose real name is Weng Junming, and his wife were implicated in the case. The trio tested negative for drug use, but were charged with marijuana possession. They were required to write letters of repentance in court and provide volunteer service to charitable organizations during the deferred prosecution period. Joeman's manager responded positively to the sentencing, pledging to fulfill the community service hours and engage in more beneficial social activities. Say no to drugs!
