The Green Bay Packers opted to release Aaron Jones after he declined a pay cut, signing Josh Jacobs as a free agent instead. Quarterback Jordan Love expressed that while it was tough to lose Jones, he is excited to see Jacobs in action this season. Jones signed with the Vikings, and the Packers hope they did not end up on the wrong side of that backfield trade.
