JPMorgan Aims to Attract Canadian Retail Investors with New ETFs

Reported 3 months ago

JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to penetrate Canada's retail investing market through the launch of actively managed ETFs and an expansion of its workforce. Targeting savings migrating from mutual funds, the bank will offer two ETFs focused on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 Index in Canadian dollars. With an existing asset-management foothold and aspirations for a 5% market share, JPMorgan aims to capture the growing demand for ETFs in Canada, where the market has seen significant growth recently.
