JPMorgan Expands Banking Presence in Low-Income Areas

JPMorgan Chase has announced its intention to open nearly 100 new branches in low-income communities, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. This expansion comes with plans to hire 75 community managers and increase senior business consultants in 38 cities by year-end. The new branches will function as neighborhood banks that host small business and financial education workshops for the public.
