In June, existing-home sales in the U.S. fell by 2.7%, exceeding economists' expectations, according to the National Association of Realtors. The seasonally adjusted annual rate was 3.93 million homes sold, significantly lower than the projected 4 million. Affordability issues, coupled with high mortgage rates, contributed to a disappointing spring housing market, while the median existing home price reached a record high of $435,300, up 2% year-over-year.
