A junior high school student in Keelung, Lin Yu-hung, scored 33.8 on the national junior high school examination this year, making him eligible for admission to the prestigious Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School but ultimately opting to study Information Technology at the National Keelung Commercial & Industrial Vocational Senior High School. Lin excels in four foreign languages, with a TOEIC score of 980. He cited his strong interest in IT, the need to save commuting time due to his close proximity to the school, and the desire to pursue studies in his field of interest as reasons for choosing to study locally. Lin's decision was supported by Keelung Mayor Xie Guoliang, who presented Lin with scholarships and pledged to provide more resources for local students. Lin's father emphasized the importance of early language and programming education to enhance his son's competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for his future endeavors.
