During a question-and-answer session with comedian John Bishop, Jurgen Klopp joked that he would join an open-top bus parade if Liverpool were given extra league titles due to financial sanctions against Manchester City. Klopp also made light-hearted digs at Chelsea and expressed his relief at having Liverpool's owner, Fenway Sports Group, instead of owners who bought London clubs. City is facing 115 alleged financial breaches, including failures to provide accurate financial information and breaches of Financial Fair Play rules, with their hearing scheduled for this autumn.
