Kalshi, a prediction market known for betting on events like presidential elections, has announced its expansion into sports betting just ahead of the Super Bowl, allowing users to place bets across all 50 states. This move comes shortly after the company appointed Donald Trump Jr. as an advisor. Unlike traditional sports betting operators, Kalshi generates revenue by taking a cut from the bets placed, rather than from the lost bets.
