Ko emphasized that even if Chiang Kai-shek were alive, he would not dare to subvert the constitution and engage in blatant pro-communist and pro-China acts. Ko stated that if the reconsideration fails the next day, it signifies the start of a more dangerous phase, prompting 'Do not say impeachment was unexpected!' He criticized the Kuomintang's presence outside the chamber and questioned their motives, calling it a theatrical show aimed at selling out to China.
