In response to the increasing number of registered electric vehicles, the Kaohsiung City Fire Department conducted emergency drills focusing on scenarios of electric vehicle fires and charging pile fires. The drills aimed to improve firefighters' knowledge and skills in handling such incidents, utilizing new tools like 'chassis sighters' and 'fire blankets' to extinguish fires.
