Taiwan TV News Network, June 30, 2024, 5:43 am. The Kaohsiung MRT Gangshan Station officially started trial operation today at noon, allowing the public to ride. To encourage citizens to experience the service, the Kaohsiung City Government launched the 'free ride from MRT Gangshan Kaohsiung General Hospital Station (R24) to Gangshan Station (RK1)' promotion. From June 30th at noon until August 31st, passengers can ride for free in this section by swiping their electronic cards, credit cards, or boarding codes to enter and exit at Gangshan Station (RK1). Details of the trial operation and free rides at Gangshan Station are provided.
