Reported 10 months ago

In Kaohsiung, Taiwan, a China Oil tank tanker accidentally scraped against a breakwater at Kaohsiung Port II, causing a large hole in the hull. Fortunately, the tanker was not carrying any oil at the time, preventing potential serious marine pollution or fire hazards. The tanker, weighing approximately 28,000 tons, was empty during the incident. The vessel has since been safely anchored at the repair dock awaiting repairs, with precautions in place to prevent oil spills.
