The Kaohsiung Blue Sapphire Grand Ballroom, which was popular in the 70s and 80s, is being revived through the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center, hosting concerts and showcasing legendary hosts and performers. This year, beyond the Father's Day concert in August, there are plans for story exhibitions and documentaries to shed light on the grand past of the ballroom. The executive director announced a special project focusing on revitalizing the local content of the ballroom, featuring performances by renowned artists like Hong Rong-Hong. The aim is to preserve and showcase the entertainment heritage of Taiwan for different generations to appreciate.
