A townhouse in the Sanmin District of Kaohsiung caught fire at 2:18 AM, prompting the 64-year-old female owner named Huang to jump from the 2nd floor to escape, while her 35-year-old son fled to a neighbor's house. Thankfully, both were conscious and not in life-threatening condition. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze by 3:17 AM. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
