Reports emerged of a group strip search incident during the relocation operation at Kaohsiung Women's Prison, but prison authorities have strongly denied the allegations. Pepper spray was used by the prison staff during the operation to control four inmates who were causing disturbances, with shields in hand, to prevent the situation from escalating. The prison later issued three statements in response to the incident, stressing that the handling was in accordance with the law and did not involve indecent exposure.
