Due to the rise in various types of scams where fraudsters use tactics like pretending to be investors to deceive people into withdrawing cash or purchasing virtual currencies, the Second Precinct's anti-fraud team was dispatched to the meeting to provide relevant information and prevent residents from being scammed. The precinct also warned against online ads promising guaranteed profits with no risk, urging people to be alert and report any suspicious activities to the police hotline or fraud prevention hotline.
