Two officers from Keelung Police Department, including a squad leader surnamed Zhou, have been found protecting Vietnamese female escorts recruited illegally for a KTV on Love Road, Keelung, and even engaging in illicit activities and seeking assistance from other team members. Following a report, the Keelung District Prosecutor's Office conducted a search and questioned over 10 individuals, leading to the dismissal of Zhou and another officer with two major offenses each. The case involves serious crimes, with both officers, along with four others, facing charges and being held in custody. Keelung Police Department has taken disciplinary actions against the officers and is investigating the supervisory responsibilities of relevant personnel.
