A 47-year-old man surnamed Dang in Neihu District, Taipei, spent 4 million to open a pet store but couldn't get consent from a neighbor, leading to not being able to operate. He took his life due to the economic pressure. Speculation arose that the neighbor had requested repair work in exchange for signing the consent form. Dang's daughter confirmed that the repair work they assisted with differed from what the neighbor organized separately. The incident caused strain on both families, with negotiations ongoing.
