Kia Corp plans to start producing hybrid vehicles at Hyundai Motor's new U.S. factory in Georgia by mid-2026, as demand for electric cars begins to falter. The factory, originally dedicated to all-electric vehicles, will now also manufacture hybrids, with Kia expecting to account for 40% of its production capacity. This move comes as Hyundai increases its annual production goal from 300,000 to 500,000 vehicles, part of a broader investment initiative announced in collaboration with former President Trump.
