Kitaro, aged 71, Counts Down 17-Year Return, Parachuting into Hong Kong to Collaborate with Taiko Association and Shout 'I Love Taiwan'

On June 30, Kitaro, the 71-year-old Japanese new age music master, will perform at the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center. Kitaro, a 17-time Grammy Award nominee and recipient of numerous awards including the Golden Globe Award, Grammy Award, Golden Horse Award, and Hong Kong Film Award, will return to Taiwan after 17 years to hold 'The Best of Kitaro' world tour concert in Kaohsiung, expressing his excitement over visiting the port city for the first time and declaring his love for Taiwan. The concert will feature a collaboration with over ten elite members of the Taiwan Taiko Association, showcasing the vibrant creativity of the taiko ensemble and promoting Taiwan-Japan music and cultural exchange. Kitaro will collaborate with members of the Taiwan Taiko Association during his performance in Kaohsiung.
