A conflict erupted between the blue and green camps in the Legislative Yuan on July 4th during the review of amendments to the Public Servants Election and Recall Act. The KMT accused the DPP of 'imprisoning parliamentary staff' and filed a report with the Taipei District Prosecutors Office. DPP legislator Wang Shih-cheng clarified that it was a misunderstanding and found the KMT's accusation 'ridiculous'. The conflict arose over proposed changes to the recall threshold, leading to a clash between the two parties. Wang criticized the KMT for creating unnecessary turmoil, stating that the low public support for the KMT is a result of their constant troublemaking.
