Amid opposition's push for legislative powers exercise law amendments, the DPP plans countryside promotion of 'parliament empowerment' as a countermeasure. The KMT is also set to launch large-scale street speeches in 22 counties and cities. Ko Chien-ming, DPP's legislative caucus convener, criticized the KMT for continuous unconstitutional behavior, with only two issues in parliament remaining. Ko mocked the KMT's establishment of an advocacy group advocating against recalls and reviews, appointing Chu Li-lun the 'creative director' and suggesting overseas tours for a clear view of KMT's pitiful state. Ko further warned the KMT against resistance to democracy, with the return of blue magpies, and called on Tsai Ing-wen, as party chairman, to quickly bow to constitutionality and public opinion, or else the KMT would fall under his leadership, marking a historical moment.
