KMT Criticizes DPP Legislative Leader for Reducing Rumors and Not Acting Directly

Reported 8 months ago

On June 21, the Taiwan Parliament failed to pass the review of legislative authority amendment, with DPP legislative leader Ko Chien-ming presenting a motion for constitutional review and temporary sanctions signed by the entire party, criticizing the KMT for being an appendage of China by opposing the people, the constitution, and the grand justices. The KMT retaliated, accusing the DPP of spreading rumors and not acting directly, calling it a democratic spectacle. The KMT emphasized its determination to push for parliamentary reform, urging the grand justices to be responsible guardians of the Constitution, condemning the DPP's behavior as lacking in moderation and refusing to face mainstream public opinion.
