During the legislative session on June 19, Premier Su Tseng-chang responded to questioning about parliamentary reforms. KMT legislator Hsu Hsin-ying raised concerns about the legislature’s investigative authority. Premier Su clarified that while he supports parliamentary reform, the Control Yuan and judicial institutions possess investigative rights under the Five-Yuan system and must not be confused. The legislative session will further review proposed parliamentary reform laws, with a focus on voting procedures and transparency. Premier Su emphasized that any political figure making insincere statements risks damaging their integrity, which the public will not tolerate.
