The 'Health Taiwan Promotion Committee' was established, led by President Lai Ching-te, sparking concerns among Kuomintang legislators that it may overshadow the Executive Yuan and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, with fears of the health minister becoming a puppet. However, Minister Shih-Chung Chou stated he was fully involved in the committee's establishment process and expressed gratitude, believing he will be respected, dispelling concerns of being sidelined. Additionally, addressing the shortage of intravenous solutions, the Ministry of Health and Welfare promised to resume the supply of 1000CC large-pack solutions by the end of July.
