The Kuomintang (KMT) think tank is facing financial pressure and has announced further organization reduction plans starting in August, where each research team will be reduced to only 1 person per team. This move aims to streamline operations and shift towards an 'outsourcing model' to collaborate with blue-leaning scholars and focus on researching important societal issues. According to KMT spokesperson, Yang Zhiyu, these organizational changes are to balance the needs for organizational simplification and flexibility to enhance overall operational efficiency and agility.
