On the morning of June 29, 2024, in Taipei City, a man riding a motorcycle with his wife was hit by a 90cm reinforcing bar while passing through Linsen North Road. The man suffered a torn arm injury and had to receive three stitches at the hospital. The responsible person denied it was their own reinforcing bar that fell, but the construction management department initially determined it was a negligence at the construction site, imposing a fine of 90,000 and ordering a work stoppage.
