On June 22, a Korean Air flight from Incheon to Taichung experienced abnormal pressure system warnings 50 minutes after takeoff, causing a rapid descent with 15 passengers experiencing symptoms like ear pain. The flight KE-189 descended from over 30,000 feet to around 9,000 feet in just 9 minutes, prompting emergency medical treatment for passengers upon landing. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the incident.
