The Kuomintang launched the Blue Eagle Action in Taipei in support of KMT legislators who voted against reconsidering the Executive Yuan's legislative reform bill. During the event, another group holding Nazi flags protested, but was mistakenly labeled by DPP legislators as part of the Blue Eagle Action participants. The KMT later clarified that the group had no affiliation with them and criticized the DPP for not verifying the information, stooping to new lows. This incident was denounced as baseless and not conducive to Taiwan's international reputation, with the KMT promptly intervening when the group tried to disrupt the event.
