In response to recent public outrage over the passing of the parliament empowerment bill, many netizens have initiated recalls of blue camp legislators, with KMT legislator Hsiao Chiao-hsin being a frequent target. Taipei City Councilor Chung Hsiao-ping boldly stated that if Hsiao Chiao-hsin is recalled, the KMT would collapse, even suggesting to take up guns and crush the green camp. He emphasized the importance of Hsiao's survival, warning of potential impacts on Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an's reelection campaign. Chung described Hsiao as a badger and urged the KMT to unite and fight back against the recalls, criticizing the party for waiting to die if they do not take action against the greens.
