Kyle Larson's experience at the Indianapolis 500, where he aimed to complete the "Hendrick 1100" by racing in both the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day, turned out to be a disappointment due to weather delays and conflicting schedules. Larson expressed feeling guilt and dissatisfaction with not being able to compete in both races, despite being awarded the 2024 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year after finishing 17th in the race. Despite the challenges, Larson acknowledged the support he received and remains hopeful for another opportunity to attempt the feat.
