Christine Lagarde, the President of the European Central Bank, stated that the key measure of euro-zone wage growth likely remained stable in the first quarter, with compensation per employee growing at a rate of 4.7% based on national data from 15 countries. Economists have raised their projections after negotiated wages already increased by 4.7% in the same period, surpassing expectations.
