Lai Ching-te faces 'Death Line of Governance'! Polling expert alarmed: In big trouble, Senior Green Party Legislator worried too

Reported 8 months ago

The Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation recently released the latest presidential approval rating poll, showing that President Lai Ching-te has lost nearly 2 million supporters within one month of taking office, with less than half of the public agreeing with his handling of national affairs. Polling expert Wu Tzuchi noted that the 'Death Line of Governance' is at 30%, and if this number falls below, it would be quite dangerous. Even legislators within the Democratic Progressive Party are starting to worry. A long-term polling survey by the 'Beautiful Island' will be conducted starting on the 23rd, with results expected by the end of the month. Wu emphasized the importance of the first 100 days in office for President Lai's approval rating to rise to a level that can sustain the entire term, surpassing 50 or 60% to avoid potential downfall.
