Land Administration Bureau: Direct Construction of Social Housing Exceeds 103,000 Units, Central Government Surpasses Local Governments

As of June 30, the central government has constructed 55,168 units (53.1%), while local governments have built 48,670 units (46.9%) of the total 103,838 units of social housing directly constructed nationwide. The Land Administration Bureau aims to reach a target of 120,000 units by the end of the year, with plans focusing on balanced deployment through living circles to better serve the daily needs of residents. Efforts will continue to acquire land through various means and develop multi-functional housing communities to provide comprehensive services and support systems for all age groups, emphasizing quality, safety, sustainability, and resource sharing for a better living environment.
