A major fire broke out in the Shuinu Market in Xitun District, Taichung City in the early hours of June 14th, causing damage to many stalls, including the renowned A-Lian Noodle Shop which has been in business for 60 years. Firefighters managed to control the blaze that started from the ground-floor stalls, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported in the incident.
