A fire broke out at a wellness center in Longtan District, Taoyuan, causing furniture on the first floor to ignite and spread rapidly to the upper floors where 8 individuals were trapped. Firefighters arrived promptly, helped the individuals escape, and controlled the fire within an hour. The estimated property damage is $30,000, and the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. The blaze affected a 3-story building with the first floor as the wellness center and the upper floors as rental units. Firefighters successfully rescued all trapped individuals with no reported injuries.
