Late Night With Seth Meyers, set to return for its 12th season next fall with host Seth Meyers, will no longer feature a house band after NBC decided to cut costs. The 8G Band, led by Fred Armisen, was let go as live music will no longer be a permanent part of the show. The decision was attributed to budget constraints caused by factors like streaming and declining revenues, with band member Eli Janney revealing the news in an interview. While the band will still create music for the show, they will no longer perform live, impacting both musicians and crew members working with them.
