Taiwan Opinion Foundation released a new poll on attitudes towards the Democratic Progressive Party's 'Non-Nuclear Homeland' policy, showing 45.8% oppose and 42.4% support, with more opposition than support by 3.4 percentage points. Yu Ying-lung, chair of Taiwan Opinion Foundation, pointed out the lack of consensus and deep-rooted public support for the policy, despite it being a core value of the DPP. The poll surveyed adults over 20 years old nationwide, revealing that apart from citizens aged 65 and above, every age group showed a majority opposing the policy.
