In Yunlin, Taiwan, during an investigation into an online investment and cryptocurrency fraud syndicate, the Yunlin District Prosecutor's Office found several lawyers colluding with the syndicate to leak confidential information. The office conducted searches at six locations in Kaohsiung City and Taichung City on June 11th, resulting in the arrest of lawyer Chen, lawyer Lin, lawyer Zheng, and legal personnel An, along with lawyer assistant Huang. An and Chen were indicted on charges of leaking secrets and aggravated fraud, with An detained and Chen required to post bail. The other suspects were also released with varying bail amounts. Authorities stated that the involved lawyers used their positions to obtain investigative secrets and provide them to the fraud group, with three law firms involved in the scheme. An, Chen, Lin, and Zheng were brought in for questioning, with An and Chen facing serious charges and An being detained while Chen was required to post bail.
