Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally has made further gains ahead of France’s snap legislative election on Sunday, according to Bloomberg’s poll of polls. The party increased its lead to 34.2% in Bloomberg’s composite, while leftist alliance New Popular Front ranks second at 28.2%. With Macron facing the possibility of sharing power with the opposition, gridlock may ensue in the legislature if National Rally falls short of an absolute majority in the National Assembly.
